More than 560 refugees rescued – Three dead. They were on a total of twelve boats on the way and were brought to the ports of Malaga, Almería and Motril, as the Spanish authorities announced. The bodies of three refugees were also recovered from the sea.

Spain has become the main destination for refugees from Africa this year. From the beginning of the year to the end of November, just under 52,000 of them reached the local coast. 675 people were killed.
