China is planning to ban thin plastic bags and agricultural film, according to a draft from the planning agency. Shopping bags that are less than 0.025 millimeters thick are affected, according to the paper published today.
Agricultural foils under 0.01 millimeters, which are supposed to keep moisture in the soil, should no longer be permitted afterwards. Disposable plastic cutlery should also be banned.
